Measure Joy began with a deep love for photography and curiosity about how cameras work. Founded in Southern California by Christian, a 25-year-old photographer with over 12 years behind the lens, the brand grew from a passion for capturing moments to restoring them — taking cameras apart, understanding their mechanics, and bringing them back to life.

A little over a year ago, a personal experience reshaped that passion into a mission. After being scammed while trying to purchase a laptop online, Christian saw how vulnerable buyers can feel when trust is missing. Measure Joy was created to provide a safe, transparent space where people can confidently purchase quality photography equipment without uncertainty.

Today, Measure Joy restores and customizes vintage digital cameras from the early 2000s, refurbishes classic film cameras from the 1980s and beyond, and curates photography gear for collectors and creators alike. Every item is carefully tested, thoughtfully prepared, and given a second life — preserving not just cameras, but the stories they help capture. Because life isn’t measured by time, but by moments of joy.
